OSAGIE

Joel has been working in the film industry for 6 years specialising in visual effects working on films such as Harry Potter, Paul and The Dark Knight Rises.

Joel directed and produced his short film “The Itch” at the end of 3 years studying at the prestigious National Centre of Computer Animation in Bournemouth. “The Itch” screened at Annecy International Animation Festival and at SIGGRAPH 2007 and was subsequently shown on BBC One. It also garnered him top “International Newcomer In Animation” from the Encounters Short Film Festival.

More recently Joel has co-directed and co-produced two live action shorts, screening at the Rushes Shorts Film Festival 2012 at the Sci-Fi London Film Festival 2011.

Miranda is a freelance director for film, television and corporate projects. Her recent directing work includes: ‘Playing Nurse’ which won the Limelight Best Short Drama Award 2011 and screened at the London Short Film Festival 2012 and ‘Without Prejudice’ a 25min drama for use in HR training - commissioned by the TUC and Federation of European Employers. She also has two short films currently in post-production.

Miranda has worked in a wide range of production roles over the last five years from runner to production co-ordinator to casting assistant on productions as diverse as New Tricks, Dark Shadows, Harry Potter, Great Expectations and even a very short stint on Trisha!

Miranda has a BA Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Directing for Film and Television at The University of Westminster.

Osagie has been working in the media for 6 years, and in the meantime gained an MA in Screenwriting at LCC. He has worked on various projects from commercials to comedy, music promos and films including his own short “A Recipe for Carbonara” which was executive produced by BAFTA winning director Daniel Mulloy. He has directed a number of music videos and currently works as an editor and writer at the Broadcast House advertising agency.

More recently, Osagie wrote a short film “The Interview”, which was selected to be made at ALRA as part of the 2011 graduates’ screen showcase, directed by award-winning director Sam Dore and premiered at the Clapham Picturehouse in June 2011.

A Film & TV Directing film school graduate with over five years experience in and around the industry, Cherish has worked in production and on numerous independent short films. 

Her 16mm short film,"Music Box" shot in Istanbul, Turkey with DoP Phil Moreton, was Winner of American Independent Film Festival award July 2011, screened at Leeds Film Festival, San Francisco Independent Film Festival, London Turkish Film Festival and European Independent Film Festivals 2011.
